I’m at a loss for words to describe how this first week has been. I have connected with my teammates in deep, authentic, and vulnerable ways, I’ve experienced what a Christ-centered community is truly like, my ideas of worship and prayer have completely shifted, and I’ve seen incredible miracles that I never knew were possible. I can confidently say I have never known such a sweet and uplifting community, I’ve never felt God’s love and joy so tangibly, and I’ve never felt so thankful and absolutely in love with life. One of my favorite verses is Acts 1:17, which says “for Him we live and move and have our being.” My time at training camp this last week has really taught me what living, moving, and being for the Lord looks like. I’ve seen and heard amazing things and my head and heart are so full it feels like there’s never enough time to process everything I’m experiencing and learning. However, I am so incredibly grateful that God has put me in this place and with these people, they truly feel like my brothers and sisters. I will write a more detailed update when I find the time to, but for now THANK YOU Lord for putting me here!
Your are blessed in this place to be a blessing❤️ keep journeying toward your true self and receiving love and pouring it out 💋
So fun to read your update and think back on my own training camp 17 years ago! I’m so excited for the adventure you are embarking on, the ways you will experience Kingdom in completely new contexts, and how you will learn from others as they walk out their own faith journeys with Jesus.
